Alex Kotlik is an architectural and interior photographer based out of New York City. Alex photographs Architecture, Residential Interiors, Exteriors, Commercial Spaces as well as Hospitality and Restaurants. He works with architects and interior designers, real estate developers and builders, universities and hotels.
Alex has been photographing architecture since the early 2000s.
Although he has significant experience working with film, his main focus was on the digital photography. Over the years he worked out a proprietary technique of producing stunning imagery through a composition of multiple layers with different exposures, and with localized lighting.
Aside from working in the USA, Alex has been travelling around the world photographing Contemporary and Historic Architecture, as well as doing Travel Photography. He has been to Tibet, Nepal, Thailand, Egypt, Siberia, Kamchatka, Europe, Central Asia and Canada. He also drove around the United States twice.
